On Becoming an Artist: Isamu Noguchi and his Contemporaries, 1922-1960

On Becoming an Artist celebrated the 25th anniversary year of The Noguchi Museum. Works include: Arshile Gorky, Alexander Calder, Constantin Brancusi, Berenice Abbott, Frida Kahlo, Merce Cunningham, Martha Graham, Louis Kahn, and many others. In addition to works by Noguchi, the exhibition includes personal photographs, ephemera and correspondence from The Noguchi Museum Archive as well as sculptures, paintings and drawings by his influences.

As Design Director of South Side Design & Building, Adam Thabo, (current director of Field Trip Design, LLC.) took on the role of lead exhibition designer.
